Tina Freedman and Brian Moore Bench Dedication - May 13th
There will be a Bench Dedication held on Tuesday, May 13th, (7:00pm) at Freedom Park in honor of the late Tina Freedman and Brian Moore, both long-time volunteers to the Randolph Little League program. All are welcome to attend.
2008 All-Star Manager Selections
Anyone interested in managing a summer all-star team should send a brief letter of interest to Russ Newman of the Recreation Department by no later than May 12th. You must be a manager or assistant coach of a 2008 Randolph Little League team (any league) in order to qualify. League Age 8 through League Age 12 will each have two all-star teams. Your letter of interest can be dropped off at the Community Center on Calais Road during normal business hours or you can send an email to rnewman@randolphnj.org. You must also attend a brief interview with the Little League Committee on May 15th at the Town Hall (502 Millbrook Ave.) starting at 9:00 pm.
Fan Appreciation Day - May 30th
This year's Fan Appreciation Day for League Age 12 players will be Friday evening, May 30th, at Freedom Park. There will be a home run derby and two games. Hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks and other treats will be free of charge as usual. However, this year's food will be provided courtesy of Fuddruckers. The festivities begin at 5:00pm. Players should check with their team managers for more information.
